Microsoft has confirmed that they will release a tablet computer to coincide with the launch of its Surface software Windows 8 on October 26.
The company revealed its products on the launch date of filing documents in the u.s. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
"The latest version of our operating system, Windows 7, will be generally available on October 26, 2012," a statement from Microsoft was quoted as saying the Daily Mail.
"At the same time, we will start selling the Surface, a series of hardware design and production results of Microsoft."
Computer tablet Surface has been announced in June, but there has been no release date or specifications given at the time.
Until now, Microsoft has yet to confirm if the release date is October 26, it covers the United States market only, or extends to other markets.
The launch of the Tablet Computer is expected to coincide with the launch of Surface of Windows 8 and this is the first time Microsoft reveal the release date of the product to the public.

The announcement which declared Microsoft to make its own hardware angered many Microsoft partners. It is alluded to in the filing of a document to Microsoft SEC.
The company refused to release details of his latest product prices.
